Yesterdays wedding was the reason I love my job and that reason is LOVE. I have been to and photographed alot of weddings and I just love it when you can really feel the emotion. There was not a dry eye at this one.
Claire and Flik are the most warm, wonderful people that simple adore each other, their families, their friends and their music. They were married at Woy Woy under a big old tree and had their reception at Umina Surf Club.
Usually I photograph the men for 20 or so minutes then onto the brides, but because there were 2 brides it took quite a bit longer. (11 hour day in total to be exact). Everyone was in such a great mood and so happy for Claire and Flik. Working on these photos today bought all the emotions flooding back.
Thanks to the random ukele guy at Umina Beach that serenaded Flik.
To me photography tells stories, and there were alot of stories to tell at this one..so I hope you enjoy this rather large “sneak peak”
