What is your photography style?
My style is photo journalistic. I like to photograph the day as it unfolds. I do not believe in being pushy, demanding or over the top. Most couples that I have photographed already have said it didnt even feel like I was there. I truly believe to get the best photographs for your most important day, you and your partner need to be as relaxed as possible.
What kind of Equipment do you use?
I use professional Canon camera’s and lenses. I carry a backup of everything incase anything should go wrong. I like to know that I have every possible outcome covered.
How many pictures will you take?
I will take as many or as few pictures as you want. However, I generally shoot about 500-1000 images and I edit all my images before I pass them onto you. If I have 500 great photos you get 500 great photos. I do not believe in culling them down to barely nothing.
Do we get to choose which images are colour or black and white?
I shoot everything in colour. While I am editing your photos I will see which ones I believe would benefit greatly from being turned into a black and white. When I do change an image I keep the original in colour as well, so you will have 2 copies of that image, sometimes 3 if I also think it looks great in sepia.
What is required to book the date?
I require both a deposit of $500 this is non refundable as well as a signed contract. This guarantees your date. The complete balance is due 4 weeks before the day of the event. You can pay Lisa Lent Photography several ways. Either by bank deposit, cheque or money order. Since I book my dates on a first come first serve basis, I do not hold dates until I actually receive both a signed contract and deposit. However, if someone else asks about my services on your date, I will try my best to inform you beforehand.
Will you ever send an associate to photograph our wedding?
No. I photograph every wedding. You hired me, not my assistant.
What if you have an Emergency and can’t make it to our wedding?
In this rare case, I would refer you to an associate with a similar style and pricing.
Do you have packages?
I have ala carte pricing. Meaning you choose the amount of hours you require and then add in any extras you may like. To receive a pdf pricelist, just pop me an email at email@example.com

Do you charge extra for travel?
If your wedding is on the NSW Central Coast, I dont charge for travel. However if your wedding is in Sydney or the Hunter Valley there will be a $200 travel fee. I am available throughout Australia and the world, there will be an additional travel and accommodation charge though.
Do you mind if people other than you take photographs during the wedding?
No, I do not mind at all, your family and friends are excited you are getting married! I do however ask that when I am getting certain shots that other guests wait till I have taken the photos I need, then they can get the ones they want.
Do we get a disk of high resolution images?
Yes you do. I do suggest that when you are getting your prints done, that you chose a reputable printer. Please dont go to cheap places as the colours will not match, the paper they use is cheap and your prints will fade. You really do get what you pay for.
Am I required to feed you at the reception?
Yes I do require a meal. Weddings are long and hard work and my body needs a chance to refuel. Most reception venues have meals allocated for photographers or DJ/band. Ask yours about this.
