What a fantastic venue, with gorgeous grounds, friendly staff and awesome food. I started the day at North Curl Curl with the girls as they got ready at Kim’s aunties home. There was tons of laughter from the minute I arrived and everyone was so calm! I loved that the girls all had different dresses and Kim’s dress was made by Kel-leigh couture at East Gosford.

I headed off to the gardens for the ceremony where Kerry Wall (celebrant) was waiting to start. Kim walked down the aisle to the Book of Love by Peter Gabriel. I love this song! but it gets me crying everytime so seeing what I was shooting was a little issue :)

After the ceremony we took off in a gorgeous mint coloured 57 Bel Air for a location that I have been wanting to shoot at for 25 yrs! I am SO glad I finally shot there, even if it was literally for 5 minutes and even though we had to wait for cars to pass. After photo time we drove back to the gardens for the reception. What a fantastic group of people, such fun at this one!

I love photographing events and I love it even more when it is for a great cause. St Edmunds is a wonderful school at Wahroonga. The point of the evening was to raise money for more facilities at this very special school. The kids I met were so cool and very loving.

We were also treated to an unbelievable show from TeamBeat. These guys sure know how to put on a fantastic show. They had the entire auditorium of 600 people drumming. Each person had their own drum to use and even thinking about it now gives me goosebumps! Can you imagine the sound coming from 600 drums??

Thank you to the organizers of this wonderful event and thank you for letting me part of it. Also special thanks to Miramare Gardens at Terrey Hills.. I have never seen such precision, from the delivery of food to making sure everyone was taken care of. What a great venue!
