Kellie and Jamie were married on the 27th January at the Sebel Pier One at the Rocks in Sydney. What a truly lovely venue overlooking the water, a short stroll takes you to view of the harbour bridge, Luna park and the Opera House. The ceremony was held on the pier with everyone hanging out at the bar and the pier while we went for photos.

I loved being part of their day, they were so much fun to work with. Everyone was SO lovely.

Cynthia and Ed were married on Saturday at the beautiful Kurraba Point Neutral Bay. This is such a pretty place to get married overlooking the harbour.

Cynthia and the girls got ready at Quay West apartments while the boys got ready at Ed’s mums home in Willoughby. We did things a little different this time round, instead of the usual location photos after the ceremony we all boarded a ferry and cruised around the harbour for 90 minutes before hopping off at the Quay and onto the MCA building for their reception. You couldnt ask for a better backdrop than the Opera House and the city in general.

A lot of Cynthias family and friends flew in from Canada to help celebrate the day, and it was so nice to meet all of you. Bella from Bella photoart second shot for me too! Thanks Bella!

Couples of 2011

To say that 2011 has been huge for me is a little understatement. Last year I did 30 weddings, this year I did 47! Big increase and I am ever so grateful for those 47 couples that allowed me into their lives and their day. I love each and every one of you..

Heres just a few highlights from the year!

Marquee filled with wildflowers, Darling Harbour fireworks, bride being serenaded by groom as surprise, shooting in a cave, GORGEOUS twin flowergirls, surfboards as props, very windy weather and long veil = awesomeness, a singalong bridal party shoot, stunning locations and light, the DRESSES!, emotional moments with grandma, gorgeous table centres, shooting in Foster, elopements, vintage themes, hot pink shoes, random kids on the beach dancing to DJ’s music, bridal waltz outside in the dark with fireworks, ducks joining in the bridal party pics, second marriages and SO in love, games of tennis, a bride that jumped in a bath just cause I asked, giggly brides, shooting with that gorgeous red lounge again, small intimate weddings.

There is of course SO much more but thank you to everyone that booked this year, looking forward to keeping in touch with you all and bring on 2012!
