Central Coast Wedding Photographer
For light hearted couples
I am a wedding photographer who understands that you want limited time away from your guests, probably don’t like being photographed and just want a laid back day. I have been photographing chilled, relaxed and low key weddings for over 17 years.
Warm, crisp backlit images, natural colours, and candid photo’s are my favourites! I am often found quoting movies or TV shows, having a dance, or scouting for coffee. Sound like a good fit? Send me some info about your day and we can go from there.
WHAT IT’S LIKE TO WORK WITH ME
What a lovely review – Rachel and Scott
WHAT A LOVELY REVIEW! THANKS RACHEL AND SCOTT As a couple in creative careers ourselves, a lot of overthinking went into who we would have as our wedding photographer. We could not be more thrilled with Lisas work. She captured every aspect of our day. Her photos...

New testimonial from Nicole and Jake
I was lucky enough to meet Lisa at a wedding expo and spent most of my time there talking to her about different venues, cake suppliers and wedding dress shops. I knew from the first few minutes of our conversation that I wanted her to be my wedding photographer!...

WHAT I OFFER.
Quick Turn Around
Images delivered in 1-2 weeks.
Experience
850 weddings shot and delivered in all kinds of weather.
Customised Timeline
I help create a timeline that suits your day.
Everything is Easy
My job is to make your day easy from start to finish.
SPEND MORE TIME WITH YOUR GUESTS
When shooting your wedding I am not one of these photographers that need a ton of time. I would much rather you spend time with your guests, therefore when putting together a timeline for you I concentrate on how I can achieve this. After 17 years of photographing weddings I have got it sorted.
My style is what I call 50/50. This means 50% of the day I photograph the “required” photos such as bridal party and family.
The other 50% is unposed and natural.
I love nothing more than photographing moments as they happen, so if you see me at a wedding hovering in the background, just ignore me!
If there is a stunning sunset I of course will try and grab you for 5 minutes to take advantage of it.
Sounds like the type of wedding you are going for? Send me a message via the contact form and let me know about your day.

CENTRAL COAST WEDDING VENUES
Here are some wonderful venues I have worked at numerous times over the years.
Fernbank Farm
This absolutely stunning venue is a fave of mine. Set on 25 acres in Wyong Creek There is a beautiful lake, Garden, majestic Steel Arbour, Fig Tree, and Marquees create an atmosphere that is simply stunning. There is always somewhere to shoot!
Glenworth Valley
What can I say about this amazing venue. Acres and acres of land, numerous ceremony spots, stunning locations for photos. 200 horses! This venue has it all. You really feel like you are miles from anywhere and anyone. Definitely worth checking out.
Bells at Killcare
I have worked at this venue probably at least 40 times over the years and its still one of my faves. Only 90 minutes drive north of Sydney and situated high on the NSW Bouddi Peninsula, the property is surrounded by untouched National Park, many secluded beaches and pristine bays.
Somersby Gardens Estate
Somersby Gardens is truly a stunning wedding destination. They have a huge 50 acre property that is completely secluded offering ultimate privacy in a glorious native bushland setting. The estate offers several locations for your wedding ceremony and reception.
Frequently asked questions
Are you vaccinated against Covid?
Yes I am double vaccinated plus 1 booster.
How long have you been doing wedding photography?
I have been a photographer for over 17 years now and have documented over 850 weddings in this time.
What is your photography style?
My style is photo journalistic and a little directed when needed. I like to photograph the day as it unfolds. Most couples that I have photographed already have said it didnt even feel like I was there.
I truly believe to get the best photographs for your most important day, you and your partner need to be as relaxed as possible…oh and let’s have some fun too!
What kind of Equipment do you use?
I use Canon camera’s and lenses. I carry a backup of everything incase anything should go wrong. I like to know that I have every possible outcome covered.
My camera has dual card slots that backs up the images as I shoot too.
How many pictures will you take?
I usually shoot around 100 + images per hour. Most couples end up with around 800+ wedding photo’s after I have taken out blinking shots, test shots and outtakes.
Do we get to choose which images are colour or black and white?
Everything is shot in colour. While I am editing your photos I will see which ones I believe would benefit greatly from being turned into a black and white.
What is required to book the date?
A deposit of $500 this is non refundable as well as a signed contract secures your date. The balance is due 4 weeks before the day of the event. Since I book my dates on a first come first serve basis, I do not hold dates until I actually receive both a signed contract and deposit. However, if someone else asks about my services on your date, I will try my best to inform you beforehand.
We like seeing highlights, but can we see a full wedding you have done?
Absolutely! If you would like to see a full wedding gallery from a real wedding just let me know and I will send some links through to you.
Do you have packages?
Sure do! To receive a pdf pricelist, just pop me an email at [email protected] or alternatively you can make up your own! Just let Lisa know what you would like included.
How about products?
I love handing over a tangible item, therefore I have a range of beautifully made albums, prints, canvas prints and parent albums. All proudly Australian Made. You can contact me on 0438 643 026 to meet up so you can view these products.
Do you charge extra for travel?
If your wedding is on the NSW Central Coast or the Hunter Valley, I dont charge for travel. However if your wedding is in Sydney there will be a $200 travel fee. I am available throughout Australia, there will be an additional travel and accommodation charge though.
Do you mind if people other than you take photographs during the wedding?
No, I do not mind at all, your family and friends are excited you are getting married! I do however ask that when I am getting certain shots that other guests wait till I have taken the photos I need, then they can get the ones they want.
Do we get high resolution files?
Absolutely. Your files will be available to download 1-2 weeks after your wedding. I do suggest that you send the link to family and friends to make back up copies.
Am I required to feed you at reception?
I do require a vegetarian (no mushrooms please) meal. Weddings are long and are very hard on my body, I need a chance to refuel. Another handy tip is to ask for your vendors meal to come out just after yours. That way we have a chance to sit and have a break and eat properly without rushing.
Do you take detail photos?
If you choose the 8 hour package this includes details photos such as wedding ring photos, florals, bridal jewellery such as earrings and engagement ring, wedding shoes, your wedding dress and so on.
