How did you meet? – We met through the RSVP online dating, just as we were both about to give up on online dating all together, as it didn’t seem to work as advertised. I sent Elisha one of RSVP’s first contact messages which read “I might not tick all the boxes, but I think we might have something there” to which there definitely was and we haven’t looked back since.
Describe your ideal wedding day. – Being surrounded by our closest family and friends, having drinks and sharing laughs.
Who did you choose to marry you? – Gail Brigden
Tell me about your venue? What was the deciding factor? – As soon as we walked into Fernbank Farm, we knew straight away that this was the venue for our wedding. The landscape and facilities at this location are stunning and embody everything we wish for our future home. Elisha also had a dream of arriving in a horse drawn carriage which Fernbank were able to facilitate.
Why did you end up choosing Lisa Lent to shoot your day? – After doing some research on Photographers, Lisa Lent was the one who ticked all the boxes. Lisa has great reviews, is recommended by Fernbank, has a gallery of fantastic shots as well as having a good price point and package that suites our budget. We also like her friendly approach to taking photos.
Which company is doing your hair and make up? – Hair is by Michelle Wellington, Makeup is by Lee Hanly. They are private facilitators.
Are you having a DJ or live band? Who did you choose? – We have opted for a 2 piece live band, orchestrated by Trent Crawford which includes a banjo.
Where did you get your wedding day clothing from? – Elisha’s wedding dress is from Brides on Broadwater in Woy Woy. The Boots are from Lucknow Skin Shop (Yes, knee high, embroidered, cowgirl boots). After ceremony wear from Country Road. My attire (Dan) has been pieced together to get a country feel. Ferrari Formal wear have assisted greatly in helping us pull this look together. But we have achieved the country formal look we were going for.
Who is doing your florals and your decorations? – Florals by Angel Sussurri – Yarramalong Manor
Decorations by Esther at Fernbank
Name 2 things you want your guests to remember about your wedding – How beautiful Elisha is and the fairy tale horse and carriage entrance/exit for the ceremony.
What is your first dance song? – As neither of us typically like being the centre of attention, we have chosen not to have a first dance, but rather a request for all guest to join the floor and enjoy the music being played.
