NEWCASTLE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

I received a phone call a bit over a week ago from the gorgeous Johanna Hayes from Vows Now asking a favour. There was a couple looking to get married and start the adoption process of Bernie’s sisters little girl.  They wanted no fuss, just to get married and make it legal. Then I heard the story behind it. Bernie’s sister and 11 month old baby were tragically killed in a car accident in March and left behind little Scarlett a paraplegic. There was no doubt in my mind that I was there. Jo was paramount in getting this wedding underway and with the help of beautiful Jasmine from As Sweet as Jasmine who provided some stunning florals this wedding was all systems go.

Fast forward to the day of the wedding and Jo told me on the car trip up to Newcastle what a sweet couple these guys were. She was not wrong! I met a couple so into each other, a couple that were beyond excited they were getting married and I met the SWEETEST little girl.

Ceremony was held at a gorgeous park in Newcastle with 2 lovely witnesses. Photos followed at the same park just as the sun was going down.  Thank you Jo for asking me to be there, thank you Jasmine for the beautiful flower donation, thank you Scarlett for being a typical 2 yr old and just getting on with it and thank you Bernie and Mick for just being so damn delightful!
