Ashleigh and Mickey – Peterson House
How did you meet each other? – Mickey and I met through mutual friends in 2012 while I was visiting Melbourne for the Australian Open.
Describe your ideal wedding day. Ash – Everyone’s happy and having a good time. The weather is perfect and the backdrop is picturesque. The day runs smoothly, lots of gorgeous pics are taken and there’s plenty of smiles and laughter too. And above all else – I get to marry my amazing man!
Mickey – Seeing my beautiful wife to be walking down the isle and getting to celebrate our day with family and friends.
Who did you choose to marry you and why? – We chose Scott Duncombe as our celebrant. He married my sister and brother in law and did an amazing and highly professional job and do we wanted the same for our wedding.
Tell me about your venue. What was the deciding factor? – I had always dreamt of getting married in a gorgeous little chapel and Peterson House fit the bill perfectly. We also loved the rustic feel of the restaurant as the reception centre.
Why did you end up choosing Lisa to shoot your day? – The same reason we chose Scott. Professional, experienced and just a lot of fun to have on your special day. Having been to many family weddings that Lisa had previously shot at, Lisa was always front of mind and their were no second thoughts – it was always going to be Lisa.
Which company is doing your hair and makeup? – My long time hairdresser, Zoe Potts (who I fly home to from Melbourne just to get a hair cut)
