Glenworth Valley wedding photos

Glenworth Valley wedding with running of the horses! – Kylie and Ben

How did you meet each other?
We met at Air force recruit training (1RTU). We were best friends for months – all of our friends told us we should get together – then when we went to our training at RAAF Amberley we finally ended up getting together

Describe your ideal wedding day: Really fun, relaxed and all about us. Afterwards we want to remember the special moments that we have together through the day.

Who did you choose to marry you, and why? We chose Dann King as he had a special and relatable type of humour that we loved. His first introduction with us was about being a dog-loving celebrant.. and we like dogs, it made sense for us.

Tell me about your venue? What was the deciding factor? Glenworth Valley is a beautiful horse ranch, with about 250 horses onsite. It has a happy and relaxed feel about the place. The lookout where the ceremony is being held is absolutely stunning, overlooking the valley. Its only a small space, so it feels really intimate.

Why did you end up choosing Lisa Lent to shoot your day? We saw some of your photos online, and read some of your reviews and thought that we definitely needed to meet up. After we met, you just understood what we wanted for the day and were just the perfect fit for us.

Which company is doing your hair and make up: Brides with Style

Are you having a DJ or live band? Who did you choose? We are using Dynamic DJ’s

Where did you get your wedding day clothing from: The wedding dress is from Belles and Beaux, and the suits are from YD. The bridesaid dresses are from JJ’s House

Who is doing your florals and your decorations: We bought silk flowers from Etsy, so that we can keep them. Our decorator is All Events Hire

Name 2 things you want your guests to remember about your wedding: We want them to talk about how good the food was, and how much fun the reception was.

What is your first dance song? God Bless the Broken Road – Rascall Flats

Anything else that you would like to tell us that is important for your special day? No one knows it yet – but we are surprising the brides mum with a mother-daughter dance. She has raised 4 daughters and this is the last wedding. SO much of weddings as about the father-daughter bond. We wanted to honour our mothers somehow and this seemed like a special way to do that.

We are also looking at including our dogs in the ceremony. If we go ahead with that, we will be having the groomsman hold a dog each. As we have four dogs & four groomsmen. Our dogs are working breeds with a lot of personality, which should make for some good photos and will give the celebrant some on the spot material to make us all have a laugh.
